Jalandhar, September 28, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Jalandhar has created history yet again by getting accredited by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for providing on-campus coaching to C.A. students. Prof Atima Sharma Dwivedi maintained that KMV has entered into an academic tie up with ICAI which is the first of its kind in Punjab. This course will be helpful to all the students who wish to pursue their career in CA as they will get on-campus professional coaching. It will very convenient for them to benefit from this opportunity in safe and secure environment without having to commute to institutes. It is worth a mention here that KMV has always offered courses and opportunities to the students which help develop individual skills, knowledge and creativity. KMV-the first autonomous women institutions in the whole of Punjab strives to meet international Standards and has many collaborations and tie-ups to that effect. It has professional tie-ups and collaboration with National Institute of securities Markets (NISM), Mumbai : An Academic Initiative of SEBI., Big Bazaar (Future Group), Pantaloon (Aditya Birla Fashion Retail), National stock Exchange LTD (NSE), Institute of Cost and Management Accountant of India (ICMA) etc. The first and only college under GNDU to offer the B.Com Hons course, KMV has academic affiliations with RASCI and NASSCOM. The P.G. Department of Commerce and Business Administration also publishes an annual refereed journal with ISSN No titled Indian Journal of Empirical researches in commerce Management. It also has to its credit an innovative venture of its Student The Research Book-Wings- A flight to Excellence.
