KMV celebrates Green Diwali; organize rally on pollution free Diwali

Jalandhar, October 27, 2019: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar celebrated Pollution Free Green Diwali. The students of PG Department of Commerce & Business Administration organized a rally for creating awareness in the society about celebrating "Eco friendly Diwali''. More than 100 students participated in the rally with placards showing slogans like Green Diwali and Clean Diwali & Pollution Free Diwali, Brings Khushhali. Students chanted slogans regarding Green & Pollution Free Diwali in order to spread awareness. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi addressed the students and gave tips to the students for celebrating Green Diwali & to avoid bursting of crackers, to make use of diyas over electricity & sharing gifts with the needy ones etc. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the efforts of the students & averred that youth is expected to lead society and they must continue with such productive initiatives in future also.
