KMV Bags Top Positions in GNDU Zonal Youth Festival

Jalandhar, November 1, 2016: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s support with full potential cultural activities and encourages whole-heartedly participation-cum- preparation of all items of the GNDU Zonal Youth Festival. The proof of sincere efforts of the ECA Department of the college in this direction is nothing other than the winning of many prestigious top positions in the various competitions held during the youth festival. The promising potential creative talent showed their verve and enthusiasm in all the fifteen items in which they participated. The list of 2nd positions includes the category of group song, classical vocal, clay modelling, skit, quiz, western solo and giddha while group bhajan, painting on the spot, mimicry, rangoli, phulkari, elocution classical and regional dance all won the third position.
Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated both the students and the ECA Team involved in preparation for their whole hearted and committed dedication towards their work. She observed that such events and competitions were valuable lessons in life that prepared the youth to face further challenges in life and were bound to enhance and refine them as individuals and were as must also for their holistic development. She also wished all the winners good luck for inter zonals.
