Khalsa College Teachers Invited to World Punjabi Conference

Jalandhar, May 5, 2015: Three teachers of Punjabi Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College have been invited to present papers in the World Punjabi Conference being held in Canada on 13-14 June 2015. This information was given by the college Principal Dr G.S. Samra in an interactive session on Monday. He informed that these three teachers Dr Kulwant Sandhu, Prof Gopal Singh Buttar and Dr Sukhdev Nagra would present papers on contemporary issues pertaining to Punjabi language literature and culture. He also informed that the Punjabi department of the institution was the oldest Punjabi Department of any college.

The session also witnessed participation of Harbans Singh, Baldev Singh Deol, Jaipal Singh and Coach Ram Pratap of the England chapter of the Conference.
