Khalsa College Alumnus Commissioned at IMA

Jalandhar, June 27, 2015: Gaganpreet Singh, a 2013 pass out student of Lyallpur Khalsa College, has been commissioned as Lieutenant in Indian Army. A meritorious student and a diligent NCC cadet of the college, Gaganpreet joined IMA in 2013. While in IMA he also represented IMA in Cadet Exchange programme in Brazil. As an NCC cadet in the college Gaganpreet had bagged ‘C’ Certificate in NCC along with a gold medal in Microlite Flying. Honouring the ex-student on his visit to the college, the college Principal Dr. GS Samra said the NCC could pave way for students for an excellent career in Armed Forces, adding that Gaganpreet’s success could prove an excellent example for NCC cadets of the college. The college Governing Council President Sardarni Balbir Kaur congratulated Gaganpreet Singh and college NCC incharge Major JS Rana on this achievement.
