Kamagatamaru Centenary Celebrations Committee expresses satisfaction

Ludhiana, February 25, 2015: The Kamagatamaru Centenary Celebrations Committee has expressed satisfaction at the arrest of persons suspected to be involved in the disfigurement of statute of Gadri Baba Gurmukh Singh Lalaton. 

In a statement released here today, Com Gurnam Singh Sidhu, member of the committee who had met the police commissioner today said that it is a great achievement as such people who disrespect the freedom fighters must be brought to book. 

He added the committee has thanked all those people who have actively participated and supported this struggle. The committee has appealed to the police to go into the depth as to under whose patronage or guidance the miscreants did this heinous act and were being protected till date.
