Junior Cricket Cup begins at Ireo Waterfront Township

Ludhiana, August 14, 2014: In its endeavor to promote sports in society, Sportz Entertainment Media is organising a Junior Cricket Cup at Ireo Waterfront Township on Ludhiana’s Sidhwan Canal Road. Punjab Agro Implements works is associate sponsor helping to make this tournament successful.

The first match was played between the teams of Ludhiana and Bal Bharti School Pitampura Delhi. Ludhiana won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 89 runs in 20 overs with the help of 21 runs scored by Moin Khan batting second Delhi won the match with 3 wickets.

In the second match played between Bal Bharti School Pitumpura Delhi and Patna, Delhi won the toss and elected to field. Patna scored 108 runs in 20 overs. Delhi won the match with 4 wickets with the help of 45 runs scored by Tezeshwar.

The event is being held on August 14-16. It is T20 format. Players U-14 from Amritsar, Delhi, Patna and Ludhiana are participating in the event, which is being held at Ireo Water Front Ludhiana.
