Talwandi Sabo, May 8, 2015: Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo organized a Job Carnival with the objective of Placement of the Technical Students in the region. Arashdeep Singh (TPO) Guru Kashi University said that around 500 students from Bathinda, Faridkot, Fazilka and Mansa participated in this mega placement activity. Human Resource Managers of seven companies named ACME, HS Groups, Paramount Engineering, GNSIT, Techno Tronics, Tough Geekers and PHY Ltd. visited Guru Kashi University Campus to select the final year students.
Students were undergone written test, group discussion and finally with interview during the selection procedure. Finally 101 students collectively from Guru Gobind Singh Polytechnic College, Talwandi Sabo, Saint Kabir Polytechnic College Fazilka, Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering & Technology Talwandi Sabo and Regional Polytechnic College Behman Diwana selected by above mentioned companies.
Dr. N.S. Malhi, Vice Chancellor GKU congratulated the selected students and lauded the efforts of GKU Faculty for nourishing the students up to this level.
Sukhraj Singh Sidhu emphasized on skill development and said that this is the need of time. Guru Kashi University is also launching few more programs to enhance skills among the students to meet the needs of the corporate world.
On this occasion Dr. B.S. Dhaliwal Dean Academics, Dr. Narinder Singh Director Finance, Dr. Amit Tuteja Deputy Registrar, Dr. A.K. Kansal Dean Education and Arashdeep Singh TPO were present and bless the students.
