Chandigarh, June 14, 2015: As many as 4,448 candidates from different parts of the country today appeared for Combined Entrance Test (CET) of 23 Post Graduate courses at Panjab University (PU).

14697 candidates appeared for various sought after job oriented Post Graduate Courses at the University in the two day long CET(PG) entrance examinations for 45 PG courses, which concluded here today.

PU Controller of Examinations Prof Parvinder Singh informed that 79.16 percent students appeared today. 

As many as 1366 students out of 1518 appeared for M.Sc. (Hons. School) Mathematics; 668 out of 790 appeared for M.A. (English); 487 out of 553 appeared for M.Sc. (Hons. School / 2 Yr Course) Biotechnology; 34 out of 41 appeared for M.E.F.B.; 19 out of 21 appeared for M.E. (Chemical with specialization in Environmental Engg.); 104 out of 131 appeared for M.Sc. (Industrial Chemistry); 112 out of 132 appeared for M.Sc. (Hons. School) Computer Science.

As many as 87 students out of 99 appeared for M.Sc. (2 Yr. Course) Nuclear Medicine; 5 out of 18 appeared for M.Tech. (Polymer); 111 out of 138 appeared for M.E. (Computer Science & Engg.); 40 out of 54 appeared for M.E. Civil Engg. (Construction Tech. & Mgt.); 32 out of 36 appeared for M.E. (Chemical); 160 out of 171 appeared for M.P.Ed.; 72 out of 86 appeared for Masters in Disaster Management; 148 out of 202 appeared for MBA for Executive (MBAfEx); 139 out of 163 appeared for M.Sc. (2 Yr. Course) Human Genomics; 173 out of 223 appeared for M.Com. (Business Innovation). As many as 608 students out of 691 appeared for LL.M.; 83 out of 103 appeared for M.Sc. (Hons. School) Biochemistry; 66 out of 77 appeared for M.Tech. (Nanoscience & Nanotechnology); 227 out of 282 appeared for M.Sc. (2 Yr.
