Students participate in Armed Forces Flag Day celebrations at Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar on December 5.
Jalandhar, December 7, 2014: Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar celebrated Armed Forces Flag Day on December 5, with great enthusiasm, zeal and fervour. A cultural Bonanza including dance performances, patriotic songs, skits and speeches on the importance of armed forces flag were presented by the students. The motive behind this celebration was to pay tribute to the courageous and martyred soldiers who sacrificed their lives for our safety. The purpose was to sensitise the students to honour and respect soldiers, sailors and army men of India and to work earnestly for the harmony of citizens. At the end the principal Dr. D. K. Joshi appreciated the efforts put in by the students and expected the same from them in the coming future also.
