CICU takes an initiative to organise this event Ludhiana: Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU), Ludhiana has been organizing number of Seminars/Workshops for the benefits and up-gradation of the skills of the industry and trade sectors. The role of top management has become extremely critical now days. Therefore, CICU took initiative to organized Workshop on Daily Work Management. Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU emphasized that industry has a challenging time ahead and it can sustain and grow only by working smartly. In the present scenario, implementation of daily work management is very critical to the survival of the organization. Traditional form of costing and cost management have their limitations. Therefore, it is very important that latest techniques and smart work are vital for the bottom, middle and top level employees/management. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU said that It is must to learn and implement the daily work Management Systems to efficiently manage departments, functions and processes, wherein processes must be define, standardized, controlled and improved by the process of owners. Daily Work Management is a focused approach on retaining and improving performance of a company on Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale (PQCDSM). Organizations and teams put in their best efforts and resources (5Ms) to reach the improved state, ultimately improving the profitability of organization for sustainable business growth. The interactive and thought provoking workshop will be conducted by Mr. Amit Kumar, B.Tech, MBA (Finance & Operations), Consultant & Trainer (Lean Six Sigma BB), Lean I 4.0(APO, Japan). He explained the participants in details about the Concept of Daily Work Management & its Importance, 4 Ms Tools for Managing Points/Check Points, Checklists, SOPs, Visual Controls Systems (VCS), Daily Accountability Process, Roles and Responsibilities of a Leader /Manager/Supervisor, Ensuring Role Clarity & Deliverables in Team and Some Success Stories of implementation of DWM. More than 50 participants comprising proprietors, partners, directors, general managers, plant head and senior and middle level managers, who are involved in Planning, Execution and Monitoring of the work relating to all important Functions of an organization for sustainable business growth and continuous improvements.
