Inauguration of Wall Magazine at KMV

Jalandhar, October 8, 2016: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar’s PG Department of English keeps on putting up Wall Magazines on different themes throughout the year with the objective of enriching and widening the mental horizons of students. This time the students of B.A.Semester-I (Elective English) of PG Department of English had prepared a Wall Magazine on George Bernard Shaw. The life and works of the great writer were showcased beautifully along with his pictures and famous quotes. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi unveiled the Wall Magazine and lauded the efforts of the students. Madam Principal said that such practices inculcate reading habits in students and also give exposure to their latent talents. Ms. Seema Jain (Head, PG Department of English) said that these activities really contribute in enhancing the subject knowledge of the students and build their interest in various areas of the literature. Dr. Reena Sharma was present on the occasion.
