Inauguration of Industry Week at DAVIET

Jalandhar, March 28, 2016: The event of " Industry Week " was organized by Department of Information Technology of DAVIET here at the campus to facilitate the learning of students to cater to the needs of the Industry. It aims at providing a platform to the students to interact with the experts from Industry. On Day One, Mr.Ankit Wahi, Senior Project Manager, Smart Data Enterprises, Mohali and Mr.Nitish Suri, Data Analyst, Accenture, Bangalore were the resource person. they delivered talks on "Recent Trends in IT and Project Management" and "System Application and Product in Data Processing" respectively.
Mr. Wahi in his address highlighted the recent trends in the field of Information Technology. Mr. Suri, highlighted the importance of System Application and Data processing in the globalized corporate world.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, Principal, DAVIET, Jalandhar welcomed the resource persons to the institution and highlighted that the students will gain alot through this interaction. He stressed upon the fact that both the resource persons are alumni of DAVIET. Mr. Wahi is a graduate of 2001 batch and Mr. Suri of 2010 Batch.
Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Head, Department of IT thanked both the resource persons for sparing their valuable time to interact with the students. He highlighted that during the Industry Week students will be provided a chance to interact with experts from Industry from different fields.
Atlast, Mr. rajesh Kochher (Departmental Industrial Coordinator) conveyed the schedule of Industry week to the audience. The event was attended by all the faculty members and students of Department of Information Technology.
