Ludhiana, August 17, 2012: Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Tewari has said that Deputy Chief Minister, Sukhbir Singh Badal has directed to remove all illegal hoardings from across the city.
In a statement here today, he added these hoardings could be installed only on the unipoles authorised by Ludhiana Municipal Corporation (LMC).
He told that he had reviewed the overall scenario after touring the city alongwith Police Commissioner Ishwar Singh and Ludhiana Municipal Commissioner RK Verma.
He told that strict directions had been issued to the police and the Corporation authorities to remove all illegal hoardings across the city.
He categorically told that in case illegal hoarding was observed then FIR would be lodged against the guilty person.
