Ludhiana, April 27, 2015: The Indian Doctors for Peace and Development (IDPD) is planning relief work in the earthquake affected areas in Nepal and parts of Bihar in coordination with the Physicians for Social Responsibility Nepal and the IDPD Bihar unit.  It may be mentioned here that the relief work done by IDPD in Jammu & Kashmir last year and Uttarakhand in 2013 was of timely help to the affected people in those areas. “We appeal to all concerned to contribute to this cause generously and for this  teams are being organized”, said a release issued by IDPD.

Already Dr Arun K Handa from Ludhiana and Dr Satyajit Kumar Singh and Dr Shakeel Ur Rahman from Patna have offered their services, added the release.
