Er.Anurag Sharma presented his paper in XI Autism-Europe International Congress held at Edinburgh, UK
Jalandhar: Er.Anurag Sharma, Assistant Professor of CT Institute of Technology (CTITR) and Research at Maqsudan Campus presented his paper in XI Autism-Europe International Congress held at Edinburgh, UK. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), INDIA and National Autistic Society (NAS), UK provided full travel grant, accommodation and visa fee to the Assistant Professor for presenting his paper at International podium.
He is working in the field of Autism research and has developed a screen based technological intervention by which children with autism can learn new things in no time. Er. Anurag Sharma said, “Autism is a neurological disorder. Children with Autism demonstrate potent impairments in Social Communication, Social Relationships, and Social Imagination. They find social situations confusing; appear isolated and oblivious to the outside world. They fail to understand and learn new things as a normal child can but children with autism can learn things but with structured approach and visually.”
Er. Anurag Sharma’s visit is considered a step forward for the CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, in order to meet the vital need of international exposure to the faculty members and up-gradation of the institute in terms of human resource development, entrepreneurship development, business management and various other academic and research related projects at the international level.
“Excellence for the CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, is not limited to knowledge and research experience,” said Er. Anurag, adding he said,” Our educational institutions are constantly looking for opportunities to share the knowledge, gained through international visit, with students at UG, PG and PhD level through different modes like, interaction, discussion and lectures.”
