Hospitality Job Fest at CT Institute of Hotel Management

Students participate in Hospitality Job Fest at CT Institute of Hotel Management, Jalandhar.

Jalandhar, March 14, 2015: CT Institute of Hotel management (CTIHM) organised Hospitality Job fest on Saturday. There were 556 aspirants for the job and around 231 aspirants got selected for jobs.

The participating colleges from in around Punjab participated for the job fest namely K.C Institute of Hotel management, IHM Gurdaspur, IHM Bathinda, FCI Hoshiarpur, Innocent Hearts, CTIHM, St Soldiers, UEI Global Jalandhar. Top companies of hospitality offered Rs. 2 Lakh to Rs. 3 Lakh package per annum to the selected candidates.

CTIHM provides different venues for thousands of students passing out every year from many Hotel Management institutes in the North India region. Fifteen companies visited for Job fair namely Hyatt, Velvet Clarks Exotica, Best Western  Royal Park, Best Western Almeida ,Country inn & Suites, Ramada Plaza Chandigarh, Ramada Jalandhar, Keys, Radisson Jalandhar, I- Square,  Dominos, Pizza Hut, Golden Tulip, Aveda,  Cabana,  Joncia Marine Cruise.

Rohit Sarin (Principal, CTIHM) informed that the companies who visited the organisation evaluated the candidate mainly on Reasoning and analytical skill of the candidate followed by group Discussion and Personal interview.

Sarin said that the main objective behind the job fest was to ensure that all the students are placed and every student is given opportunity to face interview of their preferred Hospitality Industry. The motive of conducting such job fest is to provide a common platform for the job seekers in the field of hospitality.

Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) thanked the companies for visiting and recruiting their students at great jobs that would definitely help to boost the morale and sharpen the skills of the students.
