HOLI festival celebrated with flowers

Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh, Vice President, SAD and others seen at a function organised to celebrate Holi with flowers instead of traditional chemical colours at Pracheen Goushala Mandir, near Division No. 3, by Shivratri Mahautsav Committee on Wednesday.

Ludhiana, March 27, 2013: A special function to celebrate the festival of Holi was organised by Shivratri Mahautsav Committee at Pracheen Goshala Mandir, near Division No. 3, here, on Wednesday.

Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh, Vice President, Shiromani Akali Dal, presided over the function.

On this occasion, the festival was celebrated with flowers instead of traditional chemical colours.

Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh extending congratulating of Holi said that the festival of Holi not only strengthen mutual brotherhood among different sections, but also help in promoting social and moral values among the society. He added that the Holi was the festival of coulors, which spread joy all around.

Dr. Singh was also honored by the committee for his services extended in organising various religious functions in the city.

On the occasion, `Radha and Krishan’, especially invited from Brindavan (Mathura), were the special source of attraction.

Sunil Mehra president Shivratri Mahautsav Committee also congratulated the people on the occasion of Holi.

Among others, Krishan Gupta, Kashturi Lal Mittal, Ashwani Kumar, Gulshan Tandan and Rajiv Tandan were present.
