HIGH profile ransom case four accused granted further police remand till July 28

Ludhiana, July 25, 2013: Today Harpreet Sandhu Advocate appeared on behalf of complainant of FIR Harminder Pal singh resident of Sarabha Nagar in the Court of Roopa Dhaliwal Judicial Magistrate First Class, Ludhiana and argued  in length before the Court that this case happens to be one of the most heinous crime ever held in part of the region  registered under section  364 A IPC, 307  etc having life punishment where in a boy of a business house was kidnapped and ransom of Rs 5 crore was taken  by the accused from the boy’s father.

As certain amount  of ransom has been recovered. But today Harpreet Sandhu lawyer of the complainant argued before the court that still, a recovery of Rs. 26 lakh, mobile phone, purse, credit cards, driving licence to get detail of mobile calls and sms during the day of crime and blood stain clothes of Munish who was kidnapped is yet to be made by the investigation agency/ police from accused Gurarpan Chauhan, Sonu Churasia, Himmat Singh alias Pappu and Tony.

After hearing the arguments of Harpreet Sandhu, alongwith the investigation police officer Khanna the Court granted police remand of the above  four accused further till July 28, 2013 for police to recover the articles etc.
