Dharamshala, January 11, 2018: The BJP MLA from Churah in Chamba Mr Hans Raj(34) was elected Deputy Speaker to HP Assembly unanimously on Thursday at Tapovan Dharamshala.
Two nominations were filed for his name one by Education Minister Mr Suresh Bhardwaj and the other by IPH Minister Mr Mahender Singh. As he was the only candidate for the post Speaker Dr Rajiv Bindal announced as the chosen Deputy Speaker of the 13th Vidhan Sabha.
Hans Raj was escorted to his seat by CM Jai Ram Thakur and Leader of Opposition mr Mukesh Agnihotri.
