Jalandhar, September 23, 2015: A guest lecture by the name of ‘Rubaroo’ was organized by the PG Department of English and PG Department of Punjabi on ‘Translation studies involving Punjabi and English languages’. Mr.KBS Sodhi, an eminent expert on Translation Studies from Ludhiana delivered an extensive lecture which was punctuated with recitation of his translated works from English literature to Punjabi. The program was anchored by Prof Sarita Tewari. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra presided over the function and pledged to continue such initiatives for the students of the college. Students from English and Punjabi Post graduation classes and all the members of both the departments were present on this occasion.
Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Head of the English department and Prof KS Sandhu, Head of the Punjabi department, presented a formal vote of thanks and concluded the lecture.
