Guest Lecture by Dr. Gasso

Jalandhar, March 9, 2015: Department of Punjabi of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organised a Guest Lecture by the famous Punjabi Writer Dr.Om Parkash Gasso who spoke on the contemporary changes in the culture of Punjab that were visible in the 21st century. He urged the students to stay connected to the roots and to seek inspiration from the values that were ingrained in the rich culture of our state. Dr. Gasso’s interactive lecture was informative and enlightening. Dr.Sucharita, Principal of the college said that it is important for the students to imbibe the goodness of the culture of their motherland. She said that progress cannot be segregated from ones cultural heritage.
