Goel highlights use of glass in smart cities

Ludhiana, August 21, 2016: Ar Sanjay Goel Director Ludhiana Smart City Limited and Chairman of IIA Chandigarh Punjab Chapter has welcomed the idea to use glass not only for interiors but for smart cities outlook too.
He was speaking as Chief Guest in Ludhiana architects meet of IIA organised by Modiguard with theme "Developing sustainable solution for smart cities".

All the office bearers of Indian Institute of architects ludhiana centre (IIALC) were special guests of honour including Yogesh Singla, Rajan Tangri, Balbir Bagga, Bimaldip Singh and Harprit Kaur Dhillon.

The seminar was attending by many leading architects from Ludhiana and other neighbouring cities.

IIA in India is now in 100th year of its function and glass industry in India too is app 100 years old as highlighted by Ar Yogesh Singla Chairman of IIALC.

Glass now a days can be used in any colour or thickness not only for window panes but for front glass curtain walls, furniture, partitions, flooring, false ceiling etc as explained by experts from modiguard.

The advantages of using glass in exteriors and interiors are too much as compared to other building materials , explained by Ar Rajan Tangri and Ar Bimaldip Sungh.

Majority or almost all big buildings of world constructed in last few decades have best elevations with use of glass only.

Team IIALC and IIACPC welcomed the organisers and architect guests in unique seminar.
