Amritsar, December 4, 2014:  International  Imaging Workshop- 2014 scheduled from December 9-14, at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science & Technology (AIST), Tsukuba, Japan.  Varinder is at present pursuing his Ph. D degree under the supervision of Dr. Pratap Kumar Pati in department of Biotechnology, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. He is also a recipient of Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship from UGC and has published many research papers in internationally reputed Journals. The prestigious workshop which he will be attending was widely advertised in Asia and neighboring countries.

Out of 90 applications received, selection committee has selected 16 candidates from 16 countries. The main aim of the workshop is to offer wide range of microscopy training to young talented researchers all over the world. Participants will be trained through hands-on practical sessions in several critical and important issues related to imaging technologies. The candidates selected to attend this workshop are fully financially supported by AIST, Japan.
