GNDU College, Jalandhar on Friday organising Vigilance Awareness Week.

Jalandhar, October 30, 2015: Guru Nanak Dev University College, Ladowali road, here today celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week in the collaboration with State Bank of Patiala. The occasion was conducted by the college and students represented the paper on the topic ‘Prevention Vigilance as Tool of Good Governance’. The chief guest Mr.Rajesh Kulkarni, DGM, State Bank of Patiala embraced the event with their presence. The Guest of Honour Mr.Rajesh Verma, AGM, State Bank of Patiala and Mr.Raminder Singh, Branch Manager, State Bank of Patiala, Shastri Market also appreciated the event with their company.
While addressing the students Dr. J.K Gulati, HOD, University Business School said that, “Vigilance means awareness. Young generation are more awakened now.  The role of government is leading and always comes out with ‘n’ number of policies. The usage of rights and policies are crucial for us”.
Mr. Rajesh Kulkarni, DGM, State Bank of Patiala said that, “The State Bank of Patiala has been collaborated with Guru Nanak Dev University for the Vigilance Awareness Week. The India is standing because of the young generation; we must keep our pace of development steady. The young generation should keep in mind the future prospects and coming predicaments”.
Mr. Rajesh Verma, AGM, State Bank of Patiala, encouraged the students in the event and said that, “our young generation is future we expect. Your degree would not matter if you demolish your ethics and morals. We must keep in mind good managerial practices and moral values for our indigenous future”.
The event concluded with the prize distribution where first prize to Bharti, second prize to Sonal, third prize to Sheena. Mr. Sanjeev, Mr Ashish, Ms Diksha, Ms Chetna, Ms Manisha and other faculty members also grace the occasion with their presence.
