GND University College outshined in Exam results declared by GNDU

Jalandhar, March 20, 2015: GND University College, Jalandhar outshined in various examination results declared by GNDU, Amritsar. Anchal Sood of B. Com (Prof.) Sem-I secured 3rd position in the University, Ankita of BCA Sem-I bagged 4th position, Punvi Arora, Rohini and Rajni of BBA Sem-I got 7th, 9th and 10th position, respectively, in the university. The total passing percentage of the University in B.Com (P) Sem-I is 65%, B.Com (R) Sem-I is 52%, BCA Sem-I is 41% and BBA Sem-I is 45%. But the passing percentage of the college is B.Com (P) Sem-I 88%, B.Com (R) Sem-I 66%, BCA Sem-I 75% and BBA Sem-I 70%. The results of the college outshined the performance of other colleges affiliated to the University.

Dr. Jaspal Singh Randhawa (Principal, GNDU College, Jalandhar) felt elated and congratulated the students. Dr. Ajaib Singh Brar, VC, GNDU Amritsar, while congratulating the students expressed that it is the result of the hard work of the teachers too. He said that the University will keep on creating educational opportunities in the region. He also added that a new course, M.B.A. Part Time will be introduced from the next session, i.e., 2015-2016. The classes of this course will take place in the evening. People already in employment will be able to drive out the maximum benefits from the course. Earlier also the courses like B.Com and M.Com are running in the evening session.
