Diwali being celebrated at KMV, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, November 10, 2015: At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar, the Diwali festive spirit could be seen all around. Staff members and students celebrated the upcoming festival season with the traditional fervour. Sweets and chocolates were distributed. A stall displaying designer diyas, artificial jewellery, originally designed small items like key chains, kurtis, suits, file covers, wall hanging etc. Were displayed and sold by the P.G. Dept. of Fashion Designing and Merchandising. Handmade original designers ‘Greeting Cards’ were also exchanged to wish each other a very happy festive season ahead. Principal Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. Atima Sharma Dwivedi wished all the staff and students a very ‘Happy Diwali’, prosperity and good health for all times to come. She observed such festive occasions were the glue of social fabric and helped to keep the society together.
