Ghubaya did nothing to help his community: Rai Sikh leader Savna

Ferozepur, March 6, 2019: Narinder Pal Singh Savna, youth leader belonging to Rai Sikh community today leveled several allegations against the Member of Parliament from Ferozepur Sher Singh Ghubaya who quit his parent party SAD and joined Congress on Monday in the presence of party president Rahul Gandhi. While addressing a press conference at Press Club Ferozepur, Savna who was accompanied with 15-20 persons, said that the “Rai Sikh” community made Ghubaya what he is today, but Ghubaya did nothing to help his community. “The innocent Rai Sikh people twice elected him as MLA from Jalalabad and twice he was elected as MP from Ferozepur. But what work he has done for the people belonging to his community. Now he joined Congress for his personal interests, not for his community which has exposed Ghubaya”, said Savna. He said that Ghubaya did not care about the mentainence of “Rai Sikh Bhawan” which was constructed for the Rai Sikh community. “Due to his lackadaisical approach, several projects which could have been initiated were never launched. When contacted, Ghubaya said, “The Rai Sikh community has always stood with me for the last several years. I need not to prove what I have done for my community. The allegations leveled by Savna are entirely baseless and false”, he added.
