GGNIVS organises Biz Quiz

Ludhiana, January 30, 2015: The Business Club of GGN Institute of Vocational Studies, an associate institute of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, organised ‘Biz Quiz - 2015’ at its premises today. There were 4 teams comprising 4 members each who are pursuing different under graduate courses from the institute.

Manjit S. Chhabra, Coordinator of the institute inaugurated the competition and said “In the present scenario the guiding force is knowledge and not degrees and books. They may lag behind but knowledge that one gain through extracurricular activities always is the guiding force in one’s life. Whenever such opportunities come, the students should not shy away, rather should participate in full numbers.”

The competition tested the student’s knowledge in the field of different subjects related to their curriculum, Current Affairs, Abbreviations and Acronyms, Personality and Audio rounds, Slogan Round and Rapid Fire Round.

The teams displayed high level of confidence. Throughout the competition one could see team work, healthy competition and a strong will to win. The personality and Audio round proved to be quite exciting and challenging as the participants displayed keen interest.

The quiz was very entertaining for the audience as there were questions for them as well. The team ‘Miracle Managers’ comprising Jaskaran (B.Com 2nd Sem) Abhi Kwatra (B.Com 6th Sem.), Sanamdeep Kumar (B.Sc IT 2nd Sem) and Anoopjot Kaur (B.Com 4th Sem.) was the winner of the competition.

Manjit Singh Chhabra gave away the prizes to the winning teams and appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to take part in such competitions.
