FREE PRE-TRAINING CAMP FOR ARMY RECRUITMENT STARTS

Ludhiana, January 14, 2019: The recruitment of Ludhiana youth in the Indian army would take place in March 2019 and a 12 week long free pre-training camp has started at C-PYTE, ITI Gill Road, here.
Training Officer Major Amarjit Singh informed that the interested youth can reach the venue along with their original documents and passport size photographs at 8 am for the trials. He said that for a general candidate for recruitment as Soldier General Duty requires at least 45 percent marks in class 10th and at least 33% score in each subject or has passed class 12th. Similarly for SC category, minimum 33% marks are required in class 10th. Their age should be between 17 1/2 to 21 years, height 5 feet 7 inch (170 cm), chest 77-82 cm. During this pre-training camp, the youth would be provided free accommodation and food.
