Jalandhar, December 4, 2015: The fourth day of INSPIRE Camp held at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution began with the lecture of Dr.Gurvinder Singh Sodhi, Department of Chemistry, Khalsa College, New Delhi. He spoke on the topic “Applications of Forensic Chemistry” and elaborated in detail on different techniques of finger printing. 
Students visited the laboratories of Physics department to understand the practical applications of different fields of sciences. They were shown the latest equipments in the laboratories and their utilization was explained. Students also visited Botanical garden of KMV where they were shown different varieties of flowers and their medicinal use was taught.
In the second session Dr. Arnaya Bhattacharaya(School of Physical Sciences, JNU) presented his views on recent development of Modern Physics. He also spoke on Nanotechnology and elaborated on topics like Nano Virus, Nano Scale and electronics. It is worth mentioning here that INSPIRE Camp is being organised every year in the premises of KMV since its inception in 2011. Almost 244 students from 32 schools of Punjab are participating in this camp. This is an endeavour of DST Govt. of India to promote Science education in India.
