First Open Gym & Children Park Inaugurated By DC Ludhiana & MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali

Ludhiana, February 25, 2016: Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana Mr Ravi Bhagat and Dakha MLA Mr Manpreet Singh Ayali today jointly inaugurated the first open gym and children park at village Gujjarwal of the district. On this occasion, a kids carnival was organised, which was attended by hundreds of children from the area, who participated in kite flying, swings, magic show and other such attractions.
While speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat said that the open gym, Sports Park and Children Park would prove beneficial for promoting sports culture in our state. He appreciated the efforts of MLA Mr Manpreet Singh Ayali for promoting sports culture in his constituency and said that such sports parks and open gym’s should be developed in all constituencies of the state. He said that the Punjab government is committed for the promotion of sports culture amongst the Punjabi youth.
Director of Drishti School Sudesh Ahlawat said that it is pleasing to see such sports and children parks developed in Gujjarwal village of Dakha constituency. She congratulated MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali for gifting this park for the village residents.
MLA Mr Manpreet Singh Ayali said that very soon, Dakha would become one of the best constituencies of the state. He said that sports parks, open gym’s and children parks would be developed in all villages of his constituency shortly and work on 40 such is already underway. He said that he feels happy to see village children enjoying sports and extracurricular activities. He said that these children are tomorrow’s future and it becomes our responsibility to take proper care of them.
On this occasion, MLA Ayali also announced a grant of Rs 40 lakh for the development of Gujjarwal village.
Today, a team of State Bank of India and SBI Life Insurance Corporation, supervised by Assistant General Manager Mr J P Singh distributed Tiffin Boxes to underprivileged schools of the area. The scheme launched under banner "Khushion Ka Lunch Box" was formally inaugurated by MLA Mr Manpreet Singh Ayali and Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat. Mr Mohit Jindal, Branch Manager Dehlon branch and Mr Abhay Joshi, Zonal Area Manager said the gesture would be continued for students of other schools too.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Sarpanch Jaswinder Singh, Gurmit Singh Kular, Satnam Singh Makkar, Tanvir Singh Dhaliwal, Harbir Singh Ayali, besides several others.
