Firing at Gym, 1 injured

Ferozepur, September 28, 2012 :  Tension mounted in Ferozepur City after some unidentified person, on Thursday late night,  fired at a gym of Lucky Deora situated on Ferozepur-Malwal road and fled away from the scene.

Lucky Deora is the brother of Happy Deora who was shot dead by some time back in the main market in Ferozepue Cantonment.

Immediately on getting the information, DSP (SD), Ferozepur Jasbir Singh and SHO Gurinderjit Singh, reached at the firing incident with police force.

Lucky Deora informed that after the death of his brother Happy Deora in Ferozepur Cantonment area by firing, some unidentified persons have made a conspiracy to kill him and in this context, a firing was made tonight.

Majority of the people in the city took the incident as fallout of old rivalry with the Deora family and few related it with an honour killing as Happy Deora married a girl against the family wishes. 

He further said that in this firing incident, one boy in the gym has been injured and window panes of the gym have broken and the names of the persons have been disclosed to the police.

Jasbir Singh, DSP(SD), Ferozepur on the other hand informed that police is investigating into the matter serious and the assailants will be booked only after the completion of the investigation.
