FIEO CONSTITUTES PUNJAB STATE COMMITTEE

RAHUL AHUJA & GAURAV MUNJAL APPOINTED AS OFFICE BEARERS
Ludhiana/New Delhi, March 2, 2017: Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) have formed a FIEO Punjab State Committee. The objective of this Committee would be to support Punjab based industry members to promote their businesses internationally, address the issues or problems faced by them while doing international trade and take up important matters / policy matters with the concerned Ministry or authority like Excise, Customs , DGFT etc for a favourable outcome. Mr Rahul Ahuja, Managing Director, Rajnish Industries Limited has been nominated as Convener and Mr Gaurav Munjal, Managing Director, HERO Ecotech Limited has been nominated as Co- Convener for FIEO Punjab State Committee.

Mr Rahul Ahuja is the Managing Director of Rajnish Group of Industries, deals in manufacturing, supplying and exporting of superior quality diesel fuel injection spares and other automotive components to 50 countries such as United States, Canada and Central America, Latin America, North, South, Central and West Africa, Middle East and West Asia, South and South East Asia, Australia etc. The brand Rajnish is having a very strong presence in Indian automotive industry. Rajnish Group also runs a Charitable Hospital in Ludhiana for poor people and also supports few educational institution. Mr Ahuja himself is a qualified Engineer with a specialization in Production Engineering. He is also an internationally certified Head Coach on Soft Skill Training Programs.

Mr Gaurav Munjal is the Managing Director of HERO Ecotech Limited. HERO Ecotech are one of the leading manufacturers of bicycles for both export and Domestic markets, Electric Scooters etc. The company have recently acquired A2B & F4W branded E-Bikes models sold in Europe, USA and parts of Asia. Mr Munjal is Masters in Business Administration with specialization in International Business from University of San Francisco School of Business Management.

Mr S C Ralhan, President National, FIEO said that “ FIEO was set up by Govt of India 50 years back, we have close to 24,000 members all across country from sectors like Engineering , Textiles , Services, Pharmaceuticals, IT etc, along with this we also have on board representation by all the Export Promotion Council (EPC’s). For the first time, FIEO has formed such a State level Committee in Punjab , its objective would be to support our Punjab based industries by sensitizing them on various beneficial schemes offered by Govt of India for exporters , the committee will also do the needful for spreading awareness among its members on various facilities and expertise offered by FIEO on how to do and manage businesses internationally. The committee will also include members from other prominent cities of Punjab for wider perspective or representation of our state at higher level(s)”.
