FICO organised GST Paathshala

Ludhiana, August 25, 2017: FICO organized GST Pathshala at its head office Jaimal Road, Janta Nagar Ludhiana, where Master Trainers Elaborated Practical Solutions to the FICO Members Regarding Goods & Service Tax. Shri Pawan Garg, Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Ludhiana and advisor GST Punjab was the Chief Guest.
Master Trainers Dr.Harsimrat Kaur Grewal, Excise and Taxation Officer, Ludhiana & Sh.Baldeep Karan Singh, Excise and Taxation Officer, Ludhiana. Shri Virender Sharma Advocate was also the Guests of Honour.
Shri Pawan Garg elaborated how we can utilise VAT, Service Tax and Central Excise against GST input tax credit.
Dr. Harsimrat Kaur Grewal elaborated that fuel expenses are outside GST and that cannot be claimed.
Mr Baldeep Karan Singh master trainer & Excise and Taxation Officer explained how to file Tran 1 & GSTR 3B. And lastly to find the same is 28 of August 2017.
Shri K. K. Seth chairman FICO, told the members that this type of GST Pathshala is the real need of hour to facilitate FICO members as trade & industry are going through the transitional period from VAT Regime to GST.
