Khanna, March 4, 2015: An exhibition was organised by Fashion Designing Department of Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College For Women, Jhar Sahib in the college premises.
The college principal Dr.Paramjeet Kaur Tiwana appreciated the efforts of students of B.Sc.I, II and III. Students of PGDFD displayed articles such as screen paintings, fabric paintings, block paintings, oil paintings, glass paintings, embroidery, stitching and crochet.
Handmade items such as flower pots, fans, bed sheets, cushion covers etc attracted the attention of the all those visiting the exhibition.
Congratulating the students, the college principal said such exhibitions inspire students to set small industry business alongwith their studies.
Staff and students bought articles of their choice.
