Excitement over tree plantation drive at Biochemistry, PU

40 trees of Ashoka and Hamilia were planted Chandigarh, July 15, 2019: Tree plantation was carried out in the department of Biochemistry, Panjab University today from 3 pm onwards with the assistance of the Horticulture Department of Panjab University, Chandigarh. More than 40 trees of Ashoka and Hamilia were planted in the premises of the BMS Block-II in South campus of the University. “A lot of excitement could be seen among the faculty, staff and students of the department and they have adopted the same with a promise to nurture the trees for a greener campus”, said the Chairperson of the department, Prof.Archana Bhatnagar.
