Excise & Taxation Department To Organise Special Camps on Aug 19; Camps To Be Held In All ETO Offices Of Ludhiana- I, II & III & Fatehgarh Sahib Districts

Ludhiana, August 18, 2016: For the disposal of pending applications regarding Registration Certificates as well as the Punjab government's Rahat Scheme, the Excise and Taxation Department, Punjab, would be organising special camps in all ETO Offices falling in Ludhiana I, II and III and Fatehgarh Sahib districts on August 19. These camps would be held from 10 am to 5 pm.
While providing further information, DETC Ludhiana Mr J K Jain informed that these special camps are being organised for providing relief to the traders, who have either applied for the new Registration Certificates or for some amendments, as well as for the Rahat Scheme. Mr Jain has appealed to all the traders to attend these special camps in large numbers so that the pending backlog of the department can be cleared, besides they themselves can be benefitted. He informed that that applications for Rahat Scheme would also be accepted during these special camps.
Mr Jain informed that these camps would be held at Ludhiana, Khanna, Raikot, Samrala, Jagraon, as well as all other towns which have office of an Excise & Taxation Officer (ETO) in Ludhiana I, II and III and Fatehgarh Sahib districts. These camps would be held in the offices of respective ETO's from 10 am to 5 pm tomorrow, i.e. August 19, 2016 (Friday).
