Jalandhar, December 18, 2015: Day 5 of Faculty Development Program at KCL-IMT trained the participating faculty members on how to design a research and the uses and challenges pertaining to Cloud Computing.
Dr.(Ms.) Ravi Kiran, professor and former head, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Thappar University, Patiala, delivered expert talk on research designing. She elaborated on the common mistakes researchers make while conducting a survey and discussed how to collect data correctly for reliable research. The participants learnt about the varied methods of research and about their aptness. Er. Mala Kalra, Assistant Professor in CSE ,NITTTR, Chandigarh spoke on Cloud Computing. The session consisted of talk on the evolution in the field and the current challenges related to Cloud Computing. She talked about Scheduling, Security oriented Concepts and Cloud sim simulation.
