Eleventh Annual Sports Day Celebrated at Cambridge school

Jalandhar, February 6, 2016: Cambridge International School for Girls celebrated Eleventh Annual Sports Day on Friday. The Special Guest of the event was, COO, Learning Wings Education Systems, Mr.Stuart Dennis. Principal, Cambridge International School for Girls, Ms Deepa Dogra, Executive Director, Learning Wings Education System Mr.J.K Kohli, Vice Principal, Cambridge International School for Girls, Ms Preeti Sharma, Sports coordinator for Cambridge Schools, Mr.A.S Sikand and co-ordinators Ms.Deepti Arora, Ms. Richa Sharma, Ms Meenu Kumar, Ms Jasjit Jaggi were also present at the event.

Executive Director ,Learning Wings Education System, Mr. J.K Kohli hoisted the school flag .The Sports Meet was declared open by Executive Director, Learning Wings Education System, Mr. J.K Kohli and  COO, Learning Wings Education System, Mr. Stuart Dennis.

The students exhibited excellent feats in  events such as Races( 50m,80 m and 100m), Long Jump, Ball Throw, Hurdles, Broad Jump, Relay Race and Shot Put for students of grades I to XII.

Sports promote life skills , which can be applied in other walks of life as well such as maintain positive attitude,setting of realistic goals, building stamina, developing sensory and motor skills. Sports have been integral part of Cambridge International School for Girls. The zeal exhibited by the participants was obvious in their efforts to play sports

Principal ,Cambridge International School for Girls, Ms. Deepa Dogra enthused the students  to  adopt sports for health and vigour in life.Vice Principal, Cambridge International School for Girls, MS. Preeti Sharma also addressed by acknowledging the feats of winners and motivated the participants to never give up in life.
