One of television’s longest running show Chidiyaghar is about to complete five year this week. We took this opportunity to sit down with the actors to understand and know some of their most memorable moments on sets and received some interesting insights.

In the year 2014, Kappi’s (Saransh Verma) track on his marriage was shown on-screen. Whilst, the actor also got married at the same time. He was searching a bride for himself in real life for two years.

Another co-incidence that happened was that the cast was performing one of the tracks from the movie Amar Akbar Anthony and when they sat down after the completion of the shooting in their makeup room that same track was being shown in one of the channels. At that time, the cast said together, such incidents give you a feeling of Déjà vu.

Paresh Gantra who plays the character of Ghotak added, “Long back, Babu ji used to keep a moustache and he went home wearing it. Next day, the makeup and crew guys kept hunting for the moustache and Babuji said he had forgotten them at home. It was very funny that day as the shoot stopped because we couldn’t continue the shoot without those moustaches. ”

Known for her role as Chuhiya, actress Trishika Tripathi said, “The set of Chidiyaghar is like our second home. I love my production house, my makeup room and show. We are like a small family who have a lot of fun together. We go through a lot of fun and such interesting incidences all the time.”

Tune into Chidiyaghar Monday to Friday, 9pm only on Sony SAB!
