~As Christmas Day weekend is nearing, here are a few fun films you can grab a chance to watch on Star Movies~
As we look back at the year 2016, the best way to enjoy the final few days of the year with just curling up on the couch over the holidays. With everyone sharing their favorite films to watch during this time, Star Movies is here to map out your holiday movie mega marathon with a host of animated movies all throughout the day from 11am to 7pm followed by a movie premiere! Instead of sticking to the classic movies, here is the full list of films that will be showcased all throughout the day on 25th December to get into the festive spirit.
FINDING NEMO At 11 am

One of the most successful films watched by all, Finding Nemo starts the Christmas film marathon at 11am. Featuring ‘Just Keep Swimming’ Ellen Degeneres, William Dafoe, Geoffery Rush and many more. The film tells the heartfelt story of a timid clownfish’ s journey to bring his son home after he is captured in the Great Barrier Reef and taken to Sydney.
INSIDE OUT at 1pm

After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school. Inside Out is a truly fun loving family film that even won an Academy Award for best animated feature film.

THE LION KING at 3pm

An Oscar winning movie for its soundtrack, have a Lion King Christmas with watching your favorite 90s animated film back again on Star Movies.

BRAVE at 5pm

Set in Scotland in a rugged and mythical time, "Brave" features Merida, an aspiring archer and impetuous daughter of royalty. Merida makes a reckless choice that unleashes unintended peril and forces her to spring into action to set things right. A beautiful film with spectacular landscapes, Brave showcases the true beauty of mother –daughter relationships with the film.
TOY STORY 3 at 7pm

One of the most applauded films, Toy Story 3 clings to your heart with its storyline and the return of Woody and the gang back again. The film tells the tale of a grown up Andy going to college and doesn't play with his toys anymore causing Woody and the others to be donated to Sunnyside Daycare, where they discover that the place is not exactly what they dreamed it was, and will have to face many dangers to come home safely.
