Cares Ladies Society of Ludhiana in the next episode of Sunsilk and MTV present Angels of Rock

Ludhiana, September 17, 2016: Cleanliness is next to Godliness- The proverb that was taught to us in school which had lost its significance in today’s world has been brought back to life by the incredible women of Ludhiana Cares Ladies Society. As the angels- Shalmali Kholgade, Anusha Mani, Akasa Singh and Jasmine Sandlas head to their next destination, they ride their way to the effervescent city of Ludhiana. Here they meet the women who make Ludhiana clean and beautiful- the ladies of Ludhiana Cares Ladies Society. Coming from diverse occupational backgrounds as well affluent families, these are a bunch of women who are bound together by the common passion of keeping their city clean.

In the next episode of Sunsilk and MTV present Angels of Rock, the angels take us into the world of the women of Ludhiana Cares Ladies Society who actually have given a new definition to the term- ‘Responsible Citizen’. These women have taken it upon themselves to keep their city clean and beautiful and believe that the educated lot has a larger responsibility in bringing about a change in the society. With a constant hope of bringing awareness amongst the people of the city, these women relentlessly work towards keeping the city clean right from the streets, hospitals to the railway stations. Backed by the mayor of the city in their endeavors, these women have strived to never give up. As the angels meet these women, they not only salute their spirits but also get so motivated by their movement that they decide to add in their bit too. With the ladies of the organization, the angels get on to one of the main roads of Ludhiana to clean it. They put on their gloves and diligently clean the entire street off waste papers, plastics etc. Left with an extremely satisfying feeling, the angels create an evocative song in honor of Ludhiana Cares Ladies Society and grace the city with their performance.

Commenting on the same Anusha said, “I am a cleanliness freak and I am very particular about keeping my home clean. But seeing the women of Ludhiana Cares Ladies Society feel and do the same for their city is commendable. These women who have got everything they need in life and live a comfortable life are ready to come out and bring about a change in the community. I think it is an amazing organization and the thought behind this is applaud worthy.”
