Jalandhar: Eldeco Greens Residents Welfare Society celebrated 70th Republic Day in Club Anandam Lawn. Sh.Sushil Rinku unfurled the National flag. Along with him Councilor Jagdish Samrai & Mrs Paramjit Kaur were guests of honour. President Dr V.K.Khullar welcomed the Chief Guest & both the councilors & read the achievements of society in the last 3 & 1/2 yrs.
On this occasion, three sewing machines were given to poor & needy ladies. Miss Tanishtha, Miss Ayushi & Miss Muskan welcomed the chief Guest, & both the councilors by presenting bouquets. Chief Guest Sushil Rinku stressed the need of having love for country & service to the poor of community.
Present on this occasion were J P Singh, S. D Bhardwaj, Harvinder Singh Bunty, Rajpal, Dr. Harbans Lal, Parduman Vaid, Amit, Amarjit Bagri, Lekh Raj, Dr. Johal, S K Batra, Bhupinder, Daljit Singh & others.
In the end Dr. V. K. Khullar thanked all the guests, Chief Guests, Councilors & residents. Chief guest also honoured Project Directors S. D Bhardwaj, Dr. Harbans lal, Mrs. Sunita Paul, Mrs. Ravinder Kaur, Mrs. Geetanjali, Harvinder Singh Bunty with Mementos.
Society honoured Chief Guest, Councilors, Prof. Aru Priya & students of S. D. College with mementos. Sh. Sanjeev Verma, Sh. Ankit Sharma, Sh. Lovejinder Singh and Major Singh were also present.
