Education Department Calls 563 Selected Teachers For Awarding Choice Stations

Chandigarh, November 18, 2015: The Education Department, Punjab, has called 563 teachers selected against the vacant posts of Punjabi, English and Social Science teachers as part of the ongoing recruitment of ‘5178 posts’, for the award of choice stations. The teachers have been called at the Punjab School Education Board complex, Mohali on 20th and 21st November. The names of the candidates and other information have been uploaded on www.ssapunjab.org where the candidates can see the complete schedule.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesman of the Education Department said that the selected 50 candidates of Punjabi have been called on 20th November from 11 AM till 1 PM while the 101 selected candidates of English have been called from 1 PM till 5 PM in the evening. Similarly, the selected 402 candidates of Social Science have been called on 21stNovember from 9 AM till 5 PM in the evening. The spokesman also added that all the candidates would get the appointment letters of their choice stations after viewing the list of vacant stations as per their merit. The spokesman made it clear that if any candidate doesn’t appear on the scheduled date and time then such candidates won’t be given the chance of opting for choice stations and the department would allot stations to such candidates at its own level.
