DTDC’s Customer Engagement Session With Players From Delhi Capitals Truly Bowls The Audience Over

Event hosted by famous sports journalist and author BoriaMajumdar, a lucky few got to team up with their favourite cricketers for an exciting Cricket Trivia Quiz New Delhi, April 26, 2019: DTDC, India’s leading express parcel service provider and the official logistics partner of Delhi Capitals, recently held an event for its customers with a few of the top players from the team present. The event, hosted by renowned sports journalist and author, Mr.Boria Majumdar, took place on the 24th of April at ITC Maurya New Delhi. Activities at the event included a Cricket Trivia Quiz and interaction between the audience and the cricketers from the franchise currently on a hot winning streak in the tournament. The event was attended by key players from Delhi Capitals, including skipper ShreyasIyer, South African young pace spearhead Kagiso Rabada, Chris Morris, Colin Ingram and team India’s Ishant Sharma and Amit Mishra. In attendance was also cricketing legend and current Delhi Capitals coach, Ricky Ponting where he shared insights on how the game has grown to become one of the world's most prominent sports, prospects for teams for the upcoming World Cup and his take on coaching an IPL team. There was a Cricket Trivia Quiz that was organized during the event where the players were called to the stage after picking out attendees’ visiting cards at random. The members from the audience whose cards were selected were given the chance to team up with the cricketers for the quiz. Unlike cricket matches, here everyone won something. Speaking about the event, Mr. Abhishek Chakraborty, Executive Director, DTDC said, “This year’s engagement session gave our customers the opportunity to meet as well as be on the same Cricket Trivia quiz team as their favourite cricketers from Delhi Capitals. Having Mr.BoriaMajumdar host the event and conduct the quiz was the cherry on top for the cricket fanatics in the audience once again.
