Ludhiana, October 9, 2017: Though initially the number of women jurist in the country was only limited but now the bright girls of the state have also strated spreading their wings in this field and one such example was Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Ludhiana Dr.Gurpreet Kaur.
Dr Gurpreet Kaur, who is currently rendering service as the Secretary District Legal Service Authority, hails from Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) and feels proud to be working in field where she could act as a catalyst in delivering justice to women, old and other needy people. She says that this job gives her immense satisfaction as she could serve the people with full religious zeal.
She says that the campaigns like Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao could be immensely helpful to the people as plays an instrumental role in awakening the people about the key issue of women empowerment. She said that it was the vision of her parents, who empowered her by educating her to attain the current status. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur said that she was today officiating on a position where people hope that they could get justice, which was a matter of great pride and satisfaction for her.
She said that she gets immense satisfaction after helping such people who really need help. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur said that the people must educate and make their girl child aware so that they could excel in life and carve out a bright future for them. She said that this campaign would go a long way in sensitizing the people about the need for empowering a girl child.
