DMC & Hospital conducts public health awareness program at Kuldeep Nagar, near Basti Jodhewal

Ludhiana, April 1, 2018: A Public Health Awareness Program was conducted by DMC & Hospital, Ludhiana on 1 April 2018 at Daddi Veero Jain Bhawan, Street no-5, Kuldeep Nagar near Basti Jodhewal Chownk, Ludhiana. Mayor Ludhiana Sh.Balkar Singh Sandhu, Senior Deputy Mayor Sh.Shyam Sunder Malhotra, Councillor Ward no-8 Sh.Yashpal Chaudhary, Cashier BJP Punjab Sh.Gurdev Sharma Debi attended this Program.
At this program thorough medical check-up of 225 patients was done by team of doctors from DMC & Hospital, Ludhiana. Patients examined were having various diseases, which they were unaware of. Patients were very thankful to the DMC Hospital team for reaching at their doorsteps and providing Free of cost Blood Pressure monitoring, Blood Sugar, ECG and all prescribed Medicines.
People were educated about precautions, good eating habits and things to be avoided to live a healthy life and that early detection of disease is very helpful in proper and timely cure. People were also educated about the benefits of various medical insurances and Govt. schemes providing medical facilities to the general public.
All Present thanked the DMCH Management for such informative program and said that they were highly benefited by the check up, investigations and the medicines given and requested for more such program in future.
