Kids gather for Diwali celebrations at CISFG, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, November 9, 2015: Diwali was celebrated in CISFG on Monday with great splendor and grandeur. Amidst all the pomp and glory of Diwali which is the festival of good over evil. A devotional duet by teachers was sung and an enthralling classical dance was performed by Ashmi of grade 5D. On the same day Children Day was also celebrated with great zest and zeal. This day reminds & renews the commitment towards the welfare of the children and to imbibe the values of the discipline, sense of order, cleanliness, beauty and innocence.
The teachers gave away the children’s day wish cards to all the students. They contributed with their stunning & scantling performance. The assembly was conducted by the teachers, later celebrated with performances by the teacher. It includes songs, skit, play dance number antakshri and last but not the least BHANGRA. Later DJ Party and pot lunch was done which was enjoyed with fun & mirth by the students. Director Mr. J K Kohli , Principal Ms. Deepa Dogra, Vice Principal Ms.Preeti Sharma Co-coordinators and teachers were present. Principal Ms. Deepa Dogra encouraged the children to excel in their life and to aim at scaling heights. The students applauded & appreciated the efforts made by the teachers and felt over whelmed.
