Ludhiana, November 29, 2019: Prominent industrialists discussed emerging trends and opportunities in international and domestic trade for MSMEs.
S.Upkar Singh Ahuja, President, CICU as Keynote Speaker and Sh.Pankaj Sharma, general secretary, CICU as Panelist joint highlighted the issues of MSMEs like Recessions, Ground Water, high GST rates, no support of Govt., Bad Infrastructure, lack of technology etc. He also mentioned that Govt. should change the definition of MSME, so that units can take benefits of Govt. schemes. The possibility of SMEs growth when they try to adopt new technologies, low cost automation, Industry 4.0 and other modern ways.
The Panel discussions were held between Mr. Pankaj Sharma, General Secretary, CICU, Mr. Ashwani Kumar, Chairman (Northern Region) of Federation of Indian Export Organizations, Mr. Vivek Verma, MD, Square Corporation, Mr. Mukhinder Singh, CEO, State Engineering Corporation (SECO), Mr. Vishal Batra, Retail Business Head, North ICICI Bank, Mr. J.S Bhogal, V.P, Farmparts Company and Mr. Amit Thapar, Ganga Acrowools Ltd.
The panelists discussed deeply about Emerging Trends and Opportunities in International and Domestic Trade for MSMEs and also shared their views on current scenario.
